ladies auxiliary

The main purpose of the Ladies Auxiliary is to give assistance, as needed, to any member of the Elmont Fire Department or the Ladies Auxiliary.

We have raised money for several members and their families from various EFD Companies.  We also assist the Rehab Truck during a Signal 10, collect for Toys for Tots, and represent the Department by parading in the summer.  We have gathered an impressive amount of trophies, including 1st Place Ladies Auxiliary Overall in the Nassau County Fire Department Parade for two consecutive years (2012 & 2013).

Membership is open to the wife, widow, daughter, daughter-in-law mother, mother-in-law, sisters or sisters-in-law of an active, veteran or exempt firefighter of the Elmont Fire Department.  Members must be at least 18 years of age. Today we have 32 members and have 6 meetings per year.  EFD gym membership is open to our members.
